May 26, 1999 THY will start connecting Crimeas capital Simferopol with Turkeys main hub Istanbul twice a week.
Simferopol Airport in Crimea is to be modernized. The first phase, which includes the establishment of an infrastructure
for passenger services, of a departure zone, and the installation of equipment, is expected to cost USD 300 thousand. A terminal
